BIO

Grayson Adams is a queer, multidisciplinary writer and designer with more than 15 years of experience in the creative writing community and 10 years in design. Their imagination has no limit when it comes to projects they’re willing to take on, and their expansive repertoire of skills reflects their ability to adapt to any narrative or design form. They have many interests, but are most passionate about creating haunting, bizarre worlds, narratives, and characters that put a central focus on the limits of the human psyche.

They have more than 5 years of experience as an editor for literary journals (Obscura, Heavy Feather Review, Copper Nickel, At Length), and love to read and edit strange, avant-garde submissions because of how they push the envelope of form and narrative. They have been published three times in Obscura Literary Magazine and several times on The Sentry newspaper’s website. They’re currently the Web Editor of At Length and a Senior Editor at Copper Nickel.

In 2019, they received a certificate in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. In 2025, they graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado Denver with a BA in English (Creative Writing Focus) and Screenwriting minor.

As of 2026, they’re an MFA candidate and Graduate Assistant at the University of New Hampshire, where they teach English.
